Even his friends in the trade said it was impossible to fit a Peugeot 406 V6 engine to a Citroen ZX, but guess what? Guy did it. Despite the small engine bay and differing wiring looms, Guy managed it. Not only that, he achieved much more...

Bodywork Alterations
Guy trial fitted a Daihatsu Fourtrak bonnet, in order to clear the new engine. However, he managed to mount the engine low enough to use a modified series two ZX bonnet instead.

ECU Programming
Using his computer systems knowledge, Guy has mapped the ECU of his Citroen ZX V6 using a laptop. This has allowed him to customise the vehicle's specifications to suit any given driving conditions: for example, high output for German autobahns and economy settings for inner city driving.

High Performance Braking
With the installation of a V6 engine, braking improvements were a necessity. Guy fitted 300mm discs with four pot calipers and braided lines. Not to overlook the aesthetics of his car, he fitted it with 17" Alessio alloy wheels.

Suspension Modification
This image shows Guy's ZX V6 project after lowering the suspension by 40mm front and rear, in order to achieve better handling and a more sporty appearance.

Re-spray
Finally, Guy transformed the look of his 24v V6 ZX with a full re-spray, facilitated by his friend and partner, Danny Light.

Next... Nitrous Injection!!!
Some might be happy with this miraculous transformation, but not Guy. He has recently begun work installing nitrous injection, the ultimate performance modification.
